What is Plump?
Plump is an AI skincare app. You take a selfie and Plump analyzes your skin, identifies your top concerns by severity, and builds a personalized daily routine targeted at those concerns.
Is Plump free?
The core skin scan and a basic routine are free. A premium subscription unlocks unlimited AI skincare chat, deeper analysis, weekly progress tracking, and broader product recommendations.
How does Plump’s AI skin analysis work?
Plump uses computer vision to identify visible skin concerns from your selfie—redness, breakouts, dryness, dark spots, texture—and rates each by severity. It then matches those concerns to ingredients and products that target them.
How accurate is the AI analysis?
Plump’s analysis is designed to surface concerns the way a knowledgeable skin coach would, not to diagnose medical conditions. For anything that looks serious, painful, or suddenly changing, see a dermatologist in person.
Can Plump replace a dermatologist?
No. Plump helps with everyday skincare—routines, product choices, common concerns. Medical conditions like cystic acne, persistent rashes, or anything that needs prescription treatment should be handled by a dermatologist.
Is my photo data private?
Yes. Your photos are processed for your analysis and stored under your account. We do not sell your data. You can delete individual scans, your full scan history, or your entire account from inside the app at any time.
What devices does Plump work on?
Plump is available on iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android. You’ll need a working front-facing camera and a reasonably recent device (iOS 16+ / Android 10+).
How does Plump compare to other AI skincare apps?
Most AI skincare apps either focus on selling products or just scoring your skin without telling you what to do. Plump leans on actionable routines—every recommendation comes with what to do and why it’s included.
Where is Plump available?
Plump is available globally on the App Store and Google Play. The app is in English. Product recommendations cover brands available in Canada and the US; we’re expanding coverage by region over time.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through Apple or Google, so cancellation happens in your device’s App Store or Play Store subscription settings. You keep premium access until the end of your current billing period.
Who built Plump?
Plump is built in Canada by a small independent team focused entirely on skincare. We’re not a wellness mega-app—the only thing this app does is help your skin.
How often should I rescan?
About once a week is the sweet spot. Skin changes slowly, so daily scans rarely show much difference, while weekly scans give Plump enough signal to adjust your routine as concerns improve or new ones appear.
